Passed away at home on December 2nd, 2020, aged 96 years.
Dearly loved wife of Lou (dec).
Loved mother of Elizabeth and Phillip, mother-in-law of Kathy.
Cherished Nan of Andrew and Robert and loved honorary Nan of Lucy and Steph.
Great grandmother of Annabelle.
Rest in Peace
Born in Liverpool and surviving the blitz, Lilian saw service with the British Commonwealth Occupation Forces through the Middle East, Palestine and Japan, before meeting Lou and then starting a new life in Mortlake as soldier settlers.
Lilian was a tireless craftswoman and a life member of Western Plains Spinners & Weavers, founding member of Terang Cottage Crafts and Honorary Life Governess of Mortlake Hospital, also long serving member of Mortlake College School Council.
Funeral Notice
Service held Thursday December 10, 2020 - 11:00amLilian’s service will be held at St James’ Anglican Church, Mortlake on THURSDAY (Dec 10) at 11.00am.
Following the service, the cortege will depart for the Mortlake Cemetery.
Attendance in the church will be limited so the service will also be livestreamed.
For those attending the service in person, you can sign in in advance.
