  2. Even though thousands of kilometers kept us apart, you were always firmly anchored in my heart. The time we were able to spend together over the years was precious, and I will cherish the memory of it forever. I am infinitely sad that you are no longer with us. Safe journey, dear Uncle Alfred—you were the best uncle anyone could ask for. Give my love to Grandma and Grandpa—as well as to Olga, Andrea, Erika, and Harry—and have a wonderful time up there in heaven. I am already looking forward to the day we meet again.
