Barb was a very proud Taylor girl who treasured her

memories of childhood and especially working with her sisters

at Boyes Milk Bar. She loved her many friends and we thank,

Margaret M, Dot D, Edna K, May J & the wonderful Merv, who all stayed loyal and true to the end. She loved to laugh, could often be stubborn, but was always unfailingly kind. Barb was without prejudice & never held a grudge. She loved her many dogs and cats, loved to travel, to dress up, insisted on her hair being “blue” and celebrated all special occasions with a passionfruit sponge. Despite being born in Colac her heart forever remained in Camperdown and she spoke often and wistfully of her home in Russell Street. With her characteristic optimism, after Geoff died she moved back to Colac to be closer to Roz and her sisters Alice, Marj, and Nancy which has proven a wonderful blessing. Barb possessed a strong spirit and a generous and loving heart. She was much loved to the end of her 91 years.
