Dear Helen, such a special friend for many years. She had a talent for friendship and treasured her friends.
Her attitude to adversity was an inspiration. Always looking for the positives, no matter the set backs she endured. Helen’s mantra was always “onwards and upwards” She was much loved and admired by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

How much we shall miss our dearest and much loved Helen. She was such an inspiration to us all – always so bright, cheerful and positive throughout her long battle with cancer.
So many happy memories and times shared with Helen and her mum, and of her love for her garden and nature and special love of the English countryside.
A very treasured friend and neighbour for 38 years.
Our loving thoughts and deepest sympathy are with
Robert, Ben and all the family,
Sally, Graham, Rosalind and Jonathan Haines 💐 -
Helen was always there for a session of Tai Chi whether she felt up to it or not – an inspiration to anyone who thought they had it hard. Great conversation at coffee afterwards, good for a friendly argument or a joke – we will miss her so much but have to be glad that long hard battle is over. Rest peacefully Helen, we will never do Wu Dang without thinking of you.
