Update to Covid-19 Restrictions (22nd October)

October 20, 2021
From 11:59pm on Tuesday, 21st October Covid-19 restrictions are being eased as part of the first phase of Victoria’s Roadmap.
For regional funerals this means the following:
-Indoor funerals are allowed 30 attendees if all fully vaccinated
-Outdoor funerals are allowed 100 attendees if all fully vaccinated
-If vaccination status is unknown or attendees are not fully vaccinated, the funeral will be limited to 20 attendees
If Melburnians attend a regional funeral, they bring their restrictions with them.
Masks will still be required at all times, and density limits and social distancing requirements still apply.
Moving forward, you will need to register your attendance using the government’s QR code system and provide proof of your vaccination status when you attend a funeral. We suggest arriving a little earlier than you normally would to allow yourself time for this.
Details of how to add your digital Covid-19 certificate to your phone can be found at the Victorian Government’s Coronavirus website.
Printed versions are also acceptable.
We appreciate your understanding as we navigate these new changes.
