Maria Forde performs at Terang Chapel

Today we held another of our “Live at the Chapel” events, as I like to call them, to help raise funds for Terang and Mortlake Health Services and Mount View Nursing Home.

We were fortunate to have the talented Australian Irish singer Maria Forde perform in our Terang Chapel. Despite a rather ordinary day weather wise, the event was another sell out and all who were present had a most enjoyable afternoon followed by afternoon tea in our reception room (the old Terang Fire Station).

Anne and I get a real kick out of being able to bring members of our local and wider community together for these events and we are grateful to all who attend.

Our special thanks to Maria Forde for making herself available for today’s event. A big thank you also to Nellie Plummer for her assistance today and in the lead up to the event; Danny Twaddle from the Middle Hotel for donating the hot food, to all those who brought a plate for the afternoon tea and most especially to Michael Reicha for support with every event we’ve had.
