Died suddenly at home 22.2.2018

Beloved big brother to Sue and David Mitchell. Special uncle to Dale, Bree and Brett, and Luke. Great uncle to Summer and Mason Mitchell, and Ella and Oscar Davis.

You were more than just a brother to me, you were the other half of Mum’s support crew for 38 years. My best friend, sounding board and rock for the last 10 years when I needed help in carrying out the wishes of Doss and Mum in their last years.

Memories of your parting hug, “See you darlin’, take care, look after yourself, what we don’t get done today we’ll do tomorrow, I’m as close as the phone,” will stay with me for my lifetime.

Sleep peacefully, Boy. No more pain.

Sue

Brother in law for 39 years and as close as my own brothers. Will miss our chats and catch ups, cheeky grin, massive handshake and the help and support you gave to me, Sue and the kids over the journey.

David

We are so happy that Dale could not pronounce the ‘ld’ in Donald when he started to talk, you became our Donny which was special to us. Thanks for all you did and the interest and love you gave to all who entered our lives.

Dale – Summer and Mason Mitchell

Bree and Brett – Ella and Oscar Davis

And Luke Mitchell

Forever in our hearts

Memories of “Higher! Higher, Donny, we want to reach the ceiling just like you” will stay with us forever. We will miss your hugs, handshakes and final parting words with the pat on the shoulder as you left.

Rest peacefully, no more pain.
