Following a long, active and inspirational life, Mary Sadler died peacefully at Balwyn Manor on 29th June aged 110.
She and her late husband, Lindsay, enjoyed 63 years of marriage. Their children, Margaret, George, Elizabeth, Nonie, Frank (dec), Helen and John will miss her greatly.
She loved and stayed interested in her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren until her final days.

Service held Friday July 6, 2018 - 2:00pmRequiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mrs Mary Sadler will be offered at St Thomas’ Catholic Church, Warrnambool Road, Terang on FRIDAY (July 6) at 2.00pm.

My much loved Aunty Mary. What a great age 110. Our family ( The Shady family ) so lucky to have you in our lives after your only sister Bessie Shady died at 56.
We remember your reaching out to others in time of need
Your great cooking skills.
The times you played the organ at Mass etc, and the piano at many functions, too many to count
Then the main thing, for just being Aunty Mary

We were lucky enough to have meet and known you, 13 years at the Manor. Too many memories to recall of all the wonderful times we had. Your sweet smile that was always there when we came into your room. The times we sat and talked, the times we sat and hugged, the times your told me how much you appreciated us and the times we told you how much we appreciated you. Your kindness and love will never be forgotten and you will always have a special place in our hearts.
May you rest peacefully Mary, you lived a long and amazing life and we are so blessed to have cared for you.

What a wonderful lady. She was a legend. A life well lived. What else could you say. Regards from a horse lover, competitor, and rider still at 77.
