Passed away at home surrounded by her loving husband, adored children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beloved wife of Robert.
Adored mother of Lee-Anne, Steven (dec), Warren, Kim, Cameron, Paul, Richard, Martin; mother-in-law of Michelle, Wayne, Sharon, Kelli and Kristy.
Treasured Nana to 27 grandchildren and very proud great grandmother of 17.

Service held Friday June 15, 2018 - 11:00amFamily and friends are invited to a Graveside Service for Maureen (Maws) Prout, to be held at the Camperdown Cemetery on FRIDAY (June 15) at 11.00am.

You were my cousin, but 15 years older than me. As a child, I called you “Auntie Maureen” in respect of your seniority. I never forgot the Easter egg hunt you planned for me in Greensborough when I was four. I was staying with you and Robert while my youngest sister was being born. As I followed what seemed like a never-ending trail of shining foil wrapped eggs, leading from room to room, I felt as if I was in the middle of a fairy tale……and at the end was a furry toy Easter Bunny. It was the most memorable Easter of my childhood! You were unfailingly kind and a lot of fun. I will treasure your last Christmas letter from 2017 and all the memories of you among the family at Cooper Street when your children were small.
