My Dearest Marea
a friend to so many and so loved. You really enjoyed reading and working in your garden and especially meeting new people and chatting . You were such a wonderful correspondent by letter and email and I so looked forward to our very regular sharing of our day. Such a great sense of fun , enjoying a joke but never judgemental or unkind
I will miss you very much my sister , sleep peacefully surrounded by our love

In 1977 I met Marnie at work, she radiated an inner light which made her the perfect caring and compassionate nurse, such fun to work with. She was an exemplary wife to Norm with whom I had many a verbal sparring match, Marnie in the middle laughing, she new I would never change her man and such a wonderful mother. Marnie such an unfailing beautiful friend I will miss waking in the middle of the night to share the latest happenings and then receive in reply long newsy responses. A wonderful woman such a loss to us all, a person of the highest ethical standards, naturally drawn to people with whom she could so easily communicate.
I will be with you in spirit at the Celebration of your life,
With my love, Pam -
My thoughts and prayers are with Marnie’s family at this sad time – such a loss to them all. My connection to Marnie was through Norm and my husband, Tom, being such good friends through their association at St Paul’s, Coburg. I first met Norm & Tom whilst on holiday at Kia-Ora Guest House, Lorne, in the late 50’s. The Coburg boys certainly added to the social life at the guest house. Wonderful memories!
