6. Saddened by the news of Agnes’s passing. What a beautiful lady she was. Always so friendly, while we were having a meal in the pub, or when she came into the Newsagency when she was down in Warrnambool. I will never forget that lovely smile. Condolences to her family.

23. So sad to lose such a wonderful person. I loved calling for a cuppa and chat and Agnes was always warm and welcoming. She was so humble, friendly and with a wonderful nature, definitely one of a kind. I’m sure she has touched many hearts in Camperdown and I am proud and humbly to say I am one of them. RIP

We first met in the late 1970’s when I moved to Victoria to marry and our wedding reception was held at the Commercial Hotel. Our paths crossed over the years, mainly through Hilary, the loving sister-in-law we shared. Agnes was always welcoming and friendly, a lovely lady. Rest in peace.
