Our deepest condolences on the passing of Mr Field (Allan)
Mr Field was a wonderful teacher in the true sense of the word. Mr Field could most certainly teach the three R’s very well, but the life lessons he taught were what we remember the most. His sayings are lengendary, “Heads will roll” if we were in trouble or “ If I wanted the pigs I would have rattled the bucket” when we rushed up to his desk to get the newsletter. Mr Field never made us feel like we were at a small school we went on camps, we participated in school sports and of course there was the Gnotuk Christmas Concert at the end of the school year where our best acting skills and loud out tune voices could be heard by one and all!!
He made us feel Big in a small family orientated school.
Thank you Fieldsy, we loved you.Thinking of you Kate and all the family at this most difficult time.
Love The Atkinson Family (Cath, Don, Elise, Mekael and Aaron)
