Jason and Linda sending our open hearts -
Dear Jeanette and family, so sad to hear about Sammy. He was such a character and said right from the beginning of being at our school that he was going to be a bull rider and would check out the rodeos on the computer. Never ever wore school uniform- always his cowboy gear including the hat and Ted’s belt from his rodeo days. He had the best manners and loved to go and spend a day with Peter O’Connor on the farm as well as go out in the Harvey’s truck. So many stories about him that Jo Roche and I share. He taught us so much about teaching although he was one of a kind. We remember him with great fondness. My best wishes to you all.

Sam, You overcame so much in your short life And followed your dream. Someone said a ‘gentleman and a cowboy’ two words that describe you so well. I remember you when you were a cheeky young fella….tough on the outside but with a heart of gold! You had a quiet determination and such courage. You let nothing keep you down…not even a Bull!!
