I am sad to read of Florence’s passing. I last saw her when she visited our home in Port Campbell researching for a book about women of Noorat. She was seeking information about the Rutter women.
I have strong memories of Florence working in the dentists, then as a guide leader, assisting with our group when we camped at Sherbrooke. Florence led the singing at our campfire on the beach. (Very memorable).
Later we were surprised to meet again at a Life drawing class at Noorat. At that stage Florence was as full of life as ever. -
What a woman! Florence had great passion, humor and interllect and has left us a wonderful legacy recording local history. I will miss our conversations Florence. RIP.

Lovely memories of milkshakes at the shop as kids. Always a smile when you happened upon Florence. Forever a next project.

Florence had a wonderful knowledge of the history of the area she was born and grew up in, thankfully she was also a talented writer who was able to record and publish this information in numerous books she wrote. Always had a project on the go .
RIP Dear Flo .
