Hello All. It’s Richard Logan, son of Frank & Pat (Mum always said that Jimmy was her favourite cousin!)
Sending my Love & Prayers on this sad occasion that surely brings mixed feelings for you all . I did get to know Jimmy & Glad in my time staying at Noorat with Jim & Eileen Maloney back in the late 70s when a mate of mine, Fr Bill O’Connell was a Priest in Terang. I did call on them & had tea at what was their brand new house on Mortlake Rd. – You sure come from mighty fine stock! Such loving & fun I recall. I did then call on them in later years on my way back from holidaying in Warrnambool. I coincidentally met Maria Nechwatal for lunch today as she is in Bendigo for the weekend & she did give me the news about your Lovely Glad. Quite amazing that she did die on 1st May, the same date as both Betty & Pat – a significant date in Catholic circles relating to The Madonna. I have relayed the news to other family who send their condolences as well.
