SMITH, Elma “Muriel”
26 September 1929 to 1 August 2017.
Late into her 88th year. Reunited with Gordon, her husband of 57 years, and her many ancestors unearthed during their family history research beginning in 1970; and Funny Face and Humbug.
Thanks to all at the Camperdown Hospital and Robinson Street Clinic, Merindah Lodge, Lovely Banks of Cobden, Sunny Side, Victoria Police (Camperdown and Cobden) and the Ambulance Service for their help and patience provided to our mother, particularly, during the last four months; and Wendy, of Australia Post; and Henry, of Telstra; and Dot, as well as the others, who provided transport for her in the last few years – since she decided not to drive to Colac etc.
If you assisted our mother during the last few years, or our parents during the last 35 or so years since they became land-owners and finally moved, in 1984, to Kariah, and have not been individually mentioned, please accept our thanks.
May Muriel and Gordon rest in peace beneath a tree they planted in their park at Milleara.
Son Raymond and daughter Dianne.
