Funeral Notice

Service held Thursday February 23, 2023 - 1:30pm

A Requiem Mass for John will be held at St Thomas’ Catholic Church, Warrnambool Rd Terang, on Thursday (Feb 23) at 1:30pm.

The Burial Service will follow at the Terang Cemetery.

So pleased that we were able to spend some time together on your birthday, John. I will miss our telephone catch ups.
You showed interest in other people while being understated about yourself. My hope for you is that you are at peace.

Shady, thank you for being such a good friend to our Dad. You treated him and us like family and welcomed us all into your life. We are so grateful for the times we all shared with you. From welcoming us when we randomly dropped by upon visiting Terang, to letting us help collect the eggs, to being there for our Dad, your kindness always shon through. I bet you and Dad are up above reminiscing over a few cold ones.

We miss you Shady and will always be grateful for your friendship.

I am only just hearing this news now and am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was my dad’s best mate who made him laugh until it hurt. He was there for my sister and I when Dad dies and always welcomed us when we would visit.

Rest in peace Shady, I hope you and dad are sharing a beer together with Mickey.
