  1. Auntie Linda,

Thank you for being there for me and our family,

I always loved your FaceTime calls on the weekends, the times you visited and told me all the stories about you and Brian’s cruise trips, us meeting you and Brian at the train station with all your bags to stay with us for the week, that you loved tuna as much as me, and that you gave the best and most comforting hugs whenever someone needed them.

I am most grateful for you helping my mum with anything she needed, supporting her kids, her problems and shaping her into the women she is. You have done the best job; she reminds me of you auntie Linda so when im around her I will always have a little piece of you with me now that you’re gone.

I will miss you so much auntie Linda, but I hope your happy and free up in heaven, looking down on all of your family knowing you left a mark on all of our lives with your loving presence.

I love you so much auntie Linda, I will miss you and the tuna and ginger beer trips to the shops.

And finally good bye auntie Linda

you will be very missed, and you were so well loved. Tims first memory that came out was of a day when you were very firm with him as he was leading Dave astray, looks like they both grew up into amazing gentlemen so thank you for being hard on the boys. It was Lovely to catch up when we had the chance. I wish your family the very best on a very sad day. All our love to everyone

  8. Dear Linda,
I will miss the old girls catchups for dinner with Pam and Jenny. We had lots of laughs and long chats.. Usually ended up at the Casino to spend a dollar or two and Brian would be our willing taxi driver..  I also remember the great family holidays spent with Daisy, Bill and Jan at Whangamata back in the 50s.  We were so lucky to have friends like you to enjoy being kids together at the beach. Great memories. 💕
You will be missed and loved by us all.
Love to Brian and all the family. 💞

  9. Dearest Linda,

Wow where so I start? You will be missed so much. You are my Mothers longest and dearest friend and I have known you as long as I remember. My childhood memories of staying at your many farms and houses in the school holidays, caring for your animals, heading to the beach with our families.

You were so good to our family for so many decades and your kindness never went unnoticed or unappreciated. You have a beautiful heart Linda. We love you xxx

  13. Dear Linda
My thoughts go back a long way, 1960 when we started school in our Commercial class at Hamilton Technical College. I have always enjoyed our reunions and we will miss your chatter and family photos. These years have certainly gone by fast. You are resting in peace now, I send best wishes to Brian and your family. 14. Linda
Thank you for all the wonderful memories over 70 years of friendship.
I met you and your family in my pre-school days when we lived across the railway line from each other in Hamilton and enjoyed lots of childhood things that we experienced together and through the yearrs although we may not have been in touch regularly we would catch up especially
if I came to Hamilton and the enjoyment we had on two cruises but now it’s time for peaceful rest. I will miss you so much my dear friend.
    With lots of love

  15. Linda had her heart open to anyone and will be dearly missed.
Linda & Brian were so very kind in meeting a then 25yr old from UK in 2009 off the kiwi experience bus in Waitomo to show me some sights near Hamilton. We even had a picnic in the car as the weather wasn’t great which we have reminisced about every time we chatted together.
Our time together in NZ was short and sweet but was the start of a special friendship and it was a pleasure to see them both again in the UK in 2017.
I fondly remember Linda’s love of chimneys during her visit to see me and Matthew in Cambridge & Ely (UK) so I always remember to “look up” wherever I go.
Sending our love and thoughts to Brian and all the family.
