FLEMING, Charles “Ross”

Aged 77 years.
It is with immense sadness that our family announce the sudden  and unexpected passing of Ross.
Much loved husband of Moya  ( of 55 years).
Treasured father of Carolyn, Bernadette, Chris and Jacquie.
Great mate and  father -in -law of Gordon and Baulchy (Clinton).
Adored and cherished Pop of Xavier, Grace, Tom, Indi and Mia.
Loved son of Charles and Eileen (Penny) Fleming. Brother of Mary (Dec), Patricia, John (Dec) and Robert.
You will be sadly missed.
We will always  cherish our memories of you.

Passed away sadly and suddenly.

10th Feb, 2022.

Aged 77 yrs.

“Softly within the shadows,

There came a gentle call,

With farewells left unspoken,

You quietly left us all !”

A devoted, proud Dad to Caz, Dear friend of Gordon and Poppy Ross to Xavier and Grace.

You were never idle, always pottering around and keeping busy.

Your ambition, amazing work ethic and achievements exemplary.

Your passion for Footy, Bowls, Horseracing and Spoon Playing, amazing, memorable, and unique.

You may have left this world behind, but you will never leave our hearts and minds.

My dad, Mia’s pop.

We are going to miss you, our hearts are broken.

You were the man we would turn to for advice or a second opinion.

Anything we needed you were there for us.

We turned to you not just because you were our dad or pop, but because you were an honest, loyal hard working man we could trust.

You gave us strength and a sense of security.

We knew the love you had for us when we looked into your eyes and you looked into ours.

We will always treasure the love you gave us.

Rest peacefully.

Dear dad.

You’re only son.

I thought of you today but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the days before that too. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. All I have is memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I will never part.

God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart forever especially every time I walk onto the bowling green.

Your passion, determination, strength, resilience and love of all things music and outdoors, especially farming and footy will be with us constantly in our day.

    My sympathy to you and your family it was always a pleasure to catch up with Ross at family gatherings playing against when we where playing for Camperdown and Cobden and also when he was fitting milking machines which he was so good at.

    With love to you all at this time.

    I have nothing but treasured memories of time with you all on the farm and at family events growing up. Uncle Ross filled his niche in this world, accomplishing his task as husband, father, uncle, farmer and more. I’m grateful that the spoons came out at my wedding and for the opportunity to have seen him recently. I’ll be watching the live stream and thinking of you all tomorrow.
