Allan, when I first met Rick I wasn’t sure how well your family would accept myself and my young daughter.
But you showed so much love for Shari almost instantly.
Each weekend, she would perch on your lap and tired or not, you made the effort to interact with her and always made her laugh.
Then when Rick and I had Kyhal, we respectfully named him Kyhal Allan.
You showed both children so much love.
You also became a great granddad to Kyhal and Shae’s
children and made an impact in their lives just like you did on all lives you touched.
We have fond memories of you and thank you for the time we had with you.

Condolences to Sandra, Rick and Adam on the passing of Allan from a cricketing mate. Allan was always a great competitor to play against and a terrific teammate when we represented the Hamden Association together. It was fantastic to see him at our mini reunion last year at Cobden to see Bob Fisher.
